Sweet and shiny: Nutcracker

Every year I give my colleagues a jar of Danish pastries with Christmas decorations. These adorable little mesh crackers were this year's pick. I wouldn't have given them high marks for high craftsmanship. There were drips of glue and the occasional pop of paint, but nothing major. Wearing a throw makes them extra festive. Seems like people like them. I hung a few additions on my tree. They stand out because the glitter reflects the light.
