Review on Adjustable Converter 1 25 36V Efficiency Regulator by Jason Sullivan

Requires Nerf Infinus LiPo

Bought this board to power a 2S LiPo battery in a Nerf Infinus blaster. The blaster runs on 4 D-cell batteries, so it needs to run at around 6V, and this board is perfect for the task thanks to its accurate performance and small form factor. In addition to the typical flywheel layout, this blaster features an auto-load function consisting of multiple motors and an IR sensor. This is all controlled by a large brain circuit that according to YouTube releases all the magic smoke at around 7V. So reliable voltage regulation is needed to not destroy it when using LiPo power. I tested the board with 2S (8.4V) and 3S (12.6V) and it showed stable performance under full electrical load from the blaster. I'll end up using two of the 4 blocks to modify our two Infinus blasters and I have a few extras for other projects. I also used an Amass XT60 mountable connector that is installed in the battery compartment for easy connection. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YJMCDC3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_68DnEbFTVXZNJ Very happy with the purchase and I will report any issues in the future.
