Just packed (filter in box). It takes three seconds to get out of the box. The filter is rigid enough to hold its shape when deployed but flexible enough to be manipulated to squeeze into the engine compartment. I recommend, in addition to loosening any metal fasteners holding the top down (I had 4), also loosening the pipe clamps or removing the breather cap fitting. Allows the top to move out of the way more easily to pull out the old one. I change my filter frequently, I do this every 3-6 months (during that time I only drive about 6,000 miles) and I have never had the problem of this filter being torn or damaged after so much use. The Hyundai dealer charges about $20 for the filter and $45 for the labor. All I needed was a filter, a screwdriver (to loosen the fasteners even more) and some soap to wash my hands and hands afterwards. It takes about 5-10 minutes after I've done this a few times and it's BOTH filters (this engine and cabin air filter). I recommend.
