I bought this to put over an a frame sign in front of my business. I was aware that it was not super bright but I just wanted enough light to see my sign even if it were a bit dim. Saying it's dim is an understatement you can hardly tell there is a light on from any sort of distance only right up on the sign can you even tell there is a small dim glow. I live in Arizona so there is plenty of sunshine to charge this light during the day. I had an issue with the 1st lights and the company was good enough to send me a replacement right away. I have no gripes with the customer service. However these lights are in my view are terrible and useless.
