I started swimming every day and my hair turned to straw. I have long, thick, thin hair. It wasn't ideal. So I tried a bathing cap. This worked a little better but still left my hair wet. Also, I had a headache by the end of the lesson. As soon as I started using this shampoo my hair was as shiny as before. I use this shampoo first to remove bromine from my hair. Then shampoo and conditioner as usual. (I use Tigi Bed Head Superstar Shampoo and Aussie Moist Conditioner.) The smell is gone and the chemicals don't harm my hair. Great shampoo! I haven't tried their swimwear detergent yet, but I plan to try it too.
