I have an original set of US made Cobalt ratchets and sockets that I use frequently. After 10+ years of regular use, the 1/4" ratchet broke. Lowes no longer sells these tools and I rely on them heavily as I typically use threaded rods for my work. After a bit of internet searching I found these Danaher OEM parts for several brands such as notch wrenches and original Kobalt ratchets. This handle is perfect for sockets! I'm very glad I didn't have to buy a new set. long and heavy handle The handle is a bit longer than the original and will not fit in the Cobalt box This was an easy fix using a dremel and now my kit is complete I expect this improved design to last for many years to come If you are in the same boat as me is your problem solved ratchet.
