So during the pandemic I'm working remotely full time. It turned a sedentary job into a super sedentary job as now I don't even go to meetings. I've always liked the idea of treadmill tables, but (1) they're expensive, (2) they're bulky, and (3) if you use one, you walk about 1-2 miles per hour, so you don't need a fully functional treadmill. Days in summer and dark days in winter for walking around while watching tv etc. So I figured some sort of cantilever lightweight table that I could tuck under the treadmill would do. i found this It's not tall enough, so I improvised by increasing the height with heavy duty thread, some washers, and copper tubing. The treadmill is so flat that even skinny legs can't fit under it, but my son's girlfriend (the son in the video complains about sweating after BMX riding) came up with the idea of putting the table ON the treadmill. Excellent! It works like a charm and now I can walk slowly while I work! It's strong enough for the light weight of a laptop and mouse. It's still settled. And I understand that this probably violates any warranty. This company should consider making one that stretches higher.
