Review on 🚲 Enhance Safety on the Trail with the TIMBER! Mountain Bike Bell - Bolt-On Model by Jay Mitchell

Ice! in Sport

I've been riding this bell on my full suspension MTB for about 6 months and recently added it to my single speed MTB. (It replaced a cheap thumb-operated bell.) The freeways in my home state have become increasingly crowded over the years. Ringing a bell seems to sound much better than "rider" or soft "hind". Wood! validates all fields, i think you need a call. Robust construction, good sound transmission, three settings. 1) Possibility of blocking on climbs or on an early day of the week when the slopes are almost empty. I can enjoy the sounds of nature interspersed with my heavy breathing/panting. 2) A low setting is enough to alert you that you're in a rear corner on a hill, but won't ring continuously unless you're giggling at the wheel or on rough ground. 3) Full ice cream truck mode. Open the bell fully as you descend the mountain and yell "ICE CREAM TRUCK!" Settings are easy to set up (almost as easy as a decent thumbbell). The call has survived several crashes and continues to function. Disclosure, my teenage son from the local high school MTB team hates that call. well, it's more like he hates that bell on my bike. He doesn't like it when I turn it on near blind corners or narrow paths. He absolutely hates it when I chase him down the trail with bells tinkling and "Ice cream man is coming" like in Eddie Murphy RAW. God how I love torturing this poor child.
