Review on 🔌 Coolgear 12-Port USB 3.0 Powered Hub - Industrial DIN-Rail Mount for PC-MAC by Quinton Martinez

I bought this hub to replace a hub that had problems just out of warranty. This is my 4th USB 3 hub and the first 3 had some issues with USB 3 but worked fine with USB 2. This ranged from the computer not booting when the hub was plugged into USB 3 devices. . So far this block shows no signs of problems. Even when 3 hard drives, camera, mouse, keyboard and USB DVD burner are connected, the case remains intact. Since no power supply is included, I bought a Padarsey 110/220V to DC12V 10A 120W Switch Power for it. Its performance is more than enough to run these and some external hard drives. Cons: local power supply. did something and called about 10 power dies for a few seconds and the hub stopped working, it was plugged into the UPS and the computer, PSU and UPS all survived the power issues. Maybe it was a weak unit. While it worked it was great, no dropouts, everything connected to it worked great. Had to downgrade it to 2. Made another attempt to downgrade it to 1 star. The replacement was bad from the start. The left and middle ports work but the right side was dead. Returned for a refund. if you get one that works, that's great. Just received a replacement under warranty, for that 5 stars to the seller. The exchange works great. I only gave 4 stars because I had 2 bad ones. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if needed. 5 stars Revain for getting another one so quickly. Update: I've had this for a year and it started having issues with USB3 devices. USB2 devices still seem to work fine.1. The displays stop working when the computer restarts. Plugged in devices will still work, both USB 2 and 3. 2. USB 3 devices will not work 70% of the time when plugged in. In order for them to work you need to plug them in and restart your computer or plug them in during boot.3. When I connected a Bluetooth trackball to it, the trackball became very unstable and unusable. 4. I'm still looking for a reliable USB 3 hub, this isn't it.
