Review on 📱 Unihertz Jelly Pro: World's Smallest 4G Smartphone, Android 8.1 Oreo, Unlocked 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, Sky Blue by Issac Burnett

Love this phone! I got this as a replacement for my Gear S. I loved the portability of the Gear S with a full keyboard (which all later watches don't have) but the apps are limited and I really wanted the camera! I wore my watch all the time and LOVED it especially when running but the battery is now failing. So when I found this I was ecstatic! All the features of the Gear S plus the extras I wanted; Camera, more apps etc. and still small! I suddenly realized that you have to think of this phone as a huge but fully functional smartwatch. Everything works the same as on a regular phone; However, there are some apps (e.g. Google Pay) that do not work. I don't understand electronics, but something in it is not rooted(?). Basically, Google can't "trust" the device's programming, so it won't let it boot. However, there's no NFC anyway, so I guess it won't work even if the app is trusted. Future update! Observations: Looking at the screen is not as difficult as the reviews say. There is an option to adjust the font size and the largest value is enough for me without glasses. The keyboard can also be enlarged; however, it takes up screen space. I found typing fairly accurate even scaled down, but if you know how to swipe it's pretty damn accurate and always easier than typing on anything other than a full keyboard (IMHO). I had a bit of trouble with the original sim (poor call quality, duplicate contacts filling up even after removing them from the sim), but switching slots as a last resort fixed everything (so keep that in mind). - The lower quality screen and camera resolution is noticeable, but not bad for what they're trying to do. The camera has an amazingly wide angle! - You must be careful while tapping the screen. I suggest turning on keypress sounds so you can "hear" that your keypress was recognized. - Edges, especially the bottom edge when trying to pull out the keyboard in a text application, feel noticeably different. You'll press it multiple times, but I've noticed that the more you press the screen (which is a little counterintuitive), it recognizes your touch more often. acceptable when considering a smaller scale environment. The Bad: The worst thing about this phone is definitely the battery life, and if you don't set the battery saver settings properly, the phone will go into battery saver mode right before your eyes, even with a full battery. I haven't figured out the settings (and there is now a guide on the Unihertz site) but it goes into memory mode you turn it off and after 5 seconds it comes back to memory mode. It annoys you at first, but if it does, disable all battery saving options and it'll be fine again. Anyway, to give you an idea of battery life, I turned EVERYTHING on (location, I use fitness tracking for my morning workout, etc.) and at 10am it's at 50%. I turned it off around 7am :( I work from home, have a charger in my car and always carry a backup battery with me to charge my devices, so I'm ok with the battery life issue because the other features are so positive I will work with these 'watches' and how long they last but if I had to limit myself to only using them when I'm running or just want something portable I'd still be very happy .
