We live in a house that was built before 1960. This means that the rooms are quite small, so there is limited space for bike storage. We have our two bikes in the bedroom but they take up a lot of space. This stand frees up about half the space previously occupied by bikes that rest on footpegs. The bike stand was easy to assemble and all the screws fit perfectly in the holes provided. When assembled, the stand is very stable. There is one exception; This is the hook that holds the front wheel when the bike is on its back wheel. The hook will hold the bike well unless you move the stand or hit the bike. I'll add a velcro or other strap to encircle the hook at the top of the bar and the leading edge to make sure things don't break on impact. It is the front wheel hook design that lowers its status as a five star device and the four star rating I give it.
