TLDR: This is a cheap product and Chemex does not offer absolutely zero customer service if you purchase your product here. work exactly the same and have comparable customer service. I bought this coffee maker just a week ago to replace a 6 cup Chemex brewer I previously owned for 2 years. After brewing my fourth cup of coffee, I went to rinse the coffee maker but accidentally touched the faucet with the top of the coffee maker. It was a faucet. Don't hit or hit. A large triangular section protruded directly from the top of the Chemex coffee maker. The coffee maker didn't break. There were no cracks or broken glass. Just a big piece that popped out with no resistance. I was very disappointed but thinking I had the product in less than a week I contacted Amazon. Revane told me they were just middlemen and referred me to the Chemex store. I sent them a customer service ticket and they immediately told me that Amazon had sold me the product and they would not help in any way. I opened another ticket and told them Amazon referred me to them. They sent me the equivalent of the shrug emoji and closed the ticket. I beg you to spend your hard-earned money at another company.
