The heat pack seems sturdy and well-made, and fashioned out of quality materials. It heats up well in the microwave and doesn’t leak.I have used it as a cold pack also after storing it for some time in the freezer, but it is a bit stiff and not too bendable once frozen, so it doesn’t stay very well on curved areas like my shoulder or foot (I have to keep adjusting it). Therefore it’s better for flatter surfaces like the low back. Also, it doesn’t come with a Velcro sling, so I had to buy my own.Would love to see a future version of the pack with an included sling or wrap with Velcro fasteners (to hold it in place).In general, I like this pack and will use it for both heating and cooling purposes.
