Functional does what it's supposed to. be an extension. But for the price it's a lot. You get 12 gauge cable with good flexibility. It's always nice to have a lighted end so you can easily check if it's plugged into an active outlet. especially with a line that length (100 feet). The weight is a little heavy, but that's not an issue as anything with a larger caliber should be heavy at 100ft. I use this cable for an electric snow blower outdoors in the winter and it works well and retains its flexibility better than expected. All in all a good deal for a good product. The price was lower than many other shorter cables.
