Please install the drivers before connecting the USB adapter.

I wrote a big nice review but Amazon thought I had broken the terms. I made an unforgivable mistake by pasting the url of the drivers. I'm sorry for anyone who felt offended by this. Be sure to check the edup site if you don't have the CD. Find the ac1683 driver in Downloads. After installing the drivers, reboot before plugging in the adapter. On my old computer, I also had to disable the internal Wi-Fi card. The speed of this card is 10 times faster than internal Wi-Fi.
