Worth the extra money
After playing around with flimsy plastic versions whose lifespans were measured in handles [5-10] rather than years, I settled on this all-metal handle for our bathroom window. It no longer feels like that thing came off leaving the window half open [it happened twice!]. Although twice the price of plastic, it would have been worth it if I hadn't foolishly tried to be frugal. As the saying goes, you pay for what you pay for, and that's the case with this crank: more expensive, but very reliable.
