Works great, when it works.
The LED's run hot out of the box, but they can be adjusted by turning a dial on each LED module with a screw driver. The lowest voltage? I could achieve makes them produce no noticeable heat. The LED's are always on (regardless of surrounding light level) while the raspberry pi has power.My unit seems to be defective, often get a "No data received from sensor. Check all connections, including the Sunny one on the camera board" when running raspivid/raspistill. The contact between the FFC and the board seems shoddy -- the port on the camera board isn't that snug.If it worked, great value for the price.
