No semaphore timeout error with ImgBurn on this chassis and Dell XPS 8930 PC

No semaphore timeout error with ImgBurn on this chassis and Dell XPS 8930 PC I reserve my full judgment for wider use. I gave my last case a good recommendation, but after a while it started losing connection with the device. So far I've only recorded 1 Ritek 8x DVD+RW on the Pioneer BDR-209M, but it works fine with it. However, later in another case it turned out that the same media, which initially did not cause any problems, led to the device disconnecting. So I'll have to use this corpus more to see if my opinion changes. EDIT 1:2018-07-16 - There is one downside I can mention. The supplied USB cable is USB 3.1, but too short for practical use. You will need a separate longer cord or extension cord like I attached. his performance. My rating stays the same. The only downside I've really come across is that sometimes Windows 10 doesn't recognize the Pioneer BD-2209 as connected when I turn on the device, especially when I restart Windows. If I turn off the device and try again, it shows up in File Explorer. This may not be due to the case but to Windows or a specific configuration of my PC. I'm not sure. I can't tell if this is or is a limitation of the 2209, but if the 2209 cannot test a Ritek 8x DVD+RW anywhere other than the first 32 sectors, the drive will crash. Connection to Windows. The confirmation rate drops to 0.0x in ImgBurn and never resumes. The only thing you have to do is turn off the case to allow ImgBurn to abort. However, upon restart, communication with the drive is restored. Overall, I'm still very happy with this case, despite some odd glitches here and there. EDIT: 2018-08-28 - And just a few days later, on my last update, I took back pretty much everything I said positively about this drive. His power supply just failed and stopped working. No matter where connected, the green light on the adapter no longer lights up. So the enclosure doesn't get power to send to the drive. Basically it doesn't work anymore. It seemed promising but appears to have been built cheaply. I started the return/refund process and they said they will send me a replacement as it appears to be just a power supply failure. Certainly better than having to send the whole product back just because of the defective power supply unit. I may have to reconsider the number of stars. They sent me a replacement PSU for free, everything worked. I also identified a few other things I didn't know about this corpus. I put a 2209 Pioneer BD drive in another manufacturer's enclosure and when the write failed the DVD+RW test, that enclosure also lost communication with the drive. So this is not a feature of this case, but of the Pioneer 2209 BD internal drive that is used anyway.

  • Very good value
Cons
