Fantastic - The best 5.25 inch chassis to date

This is a phenomenal product. It's way better than the competition. I was looking for my first Blu-ray drive for backup, specifically MDisc, but my computer doesn't have a 5.25" optical drive bay. There doesn't seem to be many companies making external cases for them. All I could find after searching many sites was this and the Vantec Vantec NST-536S3-BK NexStar DX USB 3.0 External SATA Blu-Ray/CD/DVD Drive Enclosure is all black. I ended up dropping the Vantec and I'm glad I did because there…

Very nice external DVD drive case

I recently disassembled my office computer and there was no room for a DVD drive in it. Yes, I know who uses them more?! Well, I'm copying my huge CD library to my NAS for use with a whole house sound system. I saw it at Revain and read the reviews. They sold me this make and model. Now it is installed and working perfectly. It comes with 4 small plastic feet which - for the top of my computer case - don't hold it tight or tight. I switched to softer rubber feet along with non-slip material…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

No semaphore timeout error with ImgBurn on this chassis and Dell XPS 8930 PC I reserve my full judgment for wider use. I gave my last case a good recommendation, but after a while it started losing connection with the device. So far I've only recorded 1 Ritek 8x DVD+RW on the Pioneer BDR-209M, but it works fine with it. However, later in another case it turned out that the same media, which initially did not cause any problems, led to the device disconnecting. So I'll have to use this corpus…

  • Very good value

My desktop monster was dying. My new replacement came without a hard drive, mainly because the Phanteks P400a drbg's case doesn't even have room for an optical drive. So I came to Revain looking for aviaries. After searching a lot and trusting some reviews I decided to try OWC with no prior experience. Pros and cons are listed below Pros - fast delivery but not next day - great affordable price - build quality exceeds all expectations, it's TUF. Sturdy construction - holds my LG BD Readwriter…

Makes me mad! the best computer components

This case is driving me crazy. If it's on and plugged in when the computer boots up, I get a CD drive. If you turn it off and on again, it tries to present itself as a hard drive. I need to restart my computer to recover the CD drive. That's ridiculous. EDIT: Forgot to mention support didn't help at all. They replied after 3 days and only asked for the order number. Not sure why it matters at all. I think you only get support after X days. It then took 2 more days for them to reply to this and…
