My desktop monster was dying. My new replacement came without a hard drive, mainly because the Phanteks P400a drbg's case doesn't even have room for an optical drive. So I came to Revain looking for aviaries. After searching a lot and trusting some reviews I decided to try OWC with no prior experience. Pros and cons are listed below Pros - fast delivery but not next day - great affordable price - build quality exceeds all expectations, it's TUF. Sturdy construction - holds my LG BD Readwriter perfectly (see photo) - very easy to install. Connect two internal cables. Fasten with a screw. Screw in the rubber feet. Connect the USB to a power source. Connect to the USB port of the PC. DoneCons - Free Shipping, Amazon Prime - Weight. This solid build quality comes at a price. Weight. With an LD drive inside, it's about 4lb 10oz, not small. So don't expect it. This is the outer case. On Windows 10 PC, you need external DVD/BD playback software. Once you install it, bang bang boom. Did! Enjoy your movies. It's so well built I may never need one again. But if anyone asks me I will definitely refer them to OWC. 100% satisfied. That's the real deal.
