These LED candle are much nicer than the ones I'm replacing this year. They all work, so those who reported broken ones should return and try again. The remote is a welcome feature and come with a battery (you have to buy AAA batteries for the candles - bought amazon brand same day). Old ones had to be turned on two by two to sync the timers. I plan to use the timer feature so I'll just set up all of them on a table, set the timer, and then place them in the windows. The slow flicker looks nice on the brightest setting. The stands make them too tall so the flame is hidden by window mullions, but they're steady on their own so I just won't use the stands. They're a little less expensive 7 days after I bought the first set, so I'm buying a second set for a unified look in the front and back of the house. Hopefully, that set will arrive in working order, too.
