Update Now I had blown three of them and took out the ESP8266 it is connected to. It happened at both 5V and 3.3V. I am currently in the process of replacing the ones I have already installed/deployed. I made sure the instructions were followed. They worked for several hours before dying. They were only used to power the ESP8266. In the original review I used this to power some esp8266s from a 12v supply. I managed to stick it to the back of the esp8266 with double sided tape. I set them to 3.3V DC. Worked great. I had to use a magnifying glass to see the pads I had to solder, they are tiny. i will be back for more
