I kept dropping my remote causing the back end to bounce and the batteries to fly out and dive under the couch. Such pain. After a while the remote stopped working and I had to buy a new one. This case protects the remote when I inevitably drop it and also prevents the back panel from sliding out and the batteries flying out. Best buy ever. The only downside is my sister makes fun of me and calls it a removed condom.
