I ordered it on Black Friday and it has been working every day since it arrived. I keep it at the bar in the kitchen so our kids can be around at least every morning and night. They sure keep their airways moist and not so dry in our winter season. This season, our community has been hit by a higher incidence of influenza A, pneumonia and other respiratory viruses, and so far we've managed to stay healthy! The only thing that needs cleaning at all is the lid opening which mist sprays through and the included cleaning brush makes it a breeze. Maybe that was my experience because I religiously use filtered water from our fridge. Since the device is silver treated, I didn't want to pour tap water into it. I've found that other people don't like the light because it's difficult for them to sleep in the light. To be honest, it has a button that you can use to turn it off if you need to. Sometimes this manual is worth reading. ;) I highly recommend this humidifier.
