When I received the item it only came in a plastic bag. The nasal support wires were curved but could easily be bent back to their original shape. I have a medium face and they fit really well. The optical clarity is good for both the distance and the magnified part of the lenses. Overall these are good bifocals for the price. My only concern is that the glasses weren't packed in a protective box or case and the nose pieces were bent. And I have a feeling they will likely break if moved back and forth too much. If, like me, you're strict about your glasses, keep this in mind.
