Timbrens are required when using a plow on a GM truck. I bought them through Revain but I think they were mispackaged as they weren't meant for my truck so I bought some matching plows from a local store (same part number). My Avalanche 02 was very low in the front and they make up for that. Since I installed a 7.5 foot plow I figured they were necessary. My truck is much happier now, it drives a little stiffer BUT I like it. My OEMs were worn/damaged so they needed to be replaced anyway. I will probably buy a rear wheel set for my truck as my rear bumpers are damaged so why not upgrade?!
