Great Beginners Bench (Budget Friendly!)

TLDR: this is a great bench for beginners (or people with a home gym)! If you are a serious lifter, this may not be the bench for you.Pros:- Budget Friendly. For the price, you get a reliable item.- Assembly. Assembly was quick and easy. Nothing too complicated.- Versatile. You can use the bench for a multitude of exercises.Cons:- Not designed for Olympic 7ft bar (45lbs). I should have read the item description more closely. I bought the olympic 7ft bar (45lbs) thinking it would fit the bench perfectly. However, that wasn’t the case. It sticks out way too far. And if you add any weight over 45lbs, it may cause the bar to fling up. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A DESIGN FLAW. It just wasn’t designed to accommodate a 7ft bar. Once I bought the Olympic 5ft bar, it works fine.- Hollow design. To keep the price low, the bench is made of hollow metal. Which means it isn’t the sturdiest. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not stable. The bench is geometrically designed to be stable. But you’ll probably need to add some weights at the bottom to keep it planted on the ground. My final thoughts:I like the bench. It does what I need it to do. I don’t lift too heavy (at most 225lbs). And this bench is designed to hold that much weight.
