This product keeps the Segway rolling backwards. This is because it adds weight to the back of the Segway, which it wasn't originally designed to carry. Calibrating the balance sensor in the Segway Ninebot app can reduce some of this unwanted rolling, but it doesn't eliminate it. I haven't seen any mention of this in seller ads, but if you search for questions and read enough reviews, you'll see that this is a common problem. Trying to get on the Segway when it's trying to roll makes it much, much more dangerous. If you simply turn on the Segway without holding it, it will move away from you and collide with anything in its path. However, it's fair to say that this is the only issue I've had. . Unfortunately this is such a dangerous problem because I once rode this product on a segway, it was more comfortable and I had better control than the segway kneebar.
