Kotik approved. We have 3 boxes and 5 kittens - all indoors. They don't tear easily. The tears we had were human tears caused by an excessive desire to draw. Cleaning is very easy - we emptied the trays and washed them with hot soapy water, then dried them with towels (reserved for this) and then washed/dried towels etc. It was a real job. Now all we have to do is take the bag out of the box, put in a new bag and fill it. It should have happened long ago. The kittens agree as their boxes are changed more frequently as we can do all 3 in about 5-7 minutes and the house smells better overall. Now if only we could find a filler that completely controls odors - lol.
