Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Delphi AF10058 MAF Sensor with Advanced Air Flow Technology by Suhas Carney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

2006 Lacrosse 3800 Series III engine with 4T65E transmission.

True to the original. The most interesting thing is to pull out the old one. You'll need to remove the flexible air hose it's housed in, and the replacement comes with a small, credit card-sized 'key' that fits into the exit slot and releases the built-in latch that holds the sensor in place. I had to insert a screwdriver into the tube to pry the original sensor out and convince it to come out (while holding the 'button') as the sensor and outer case were made of hard plastic that cannot be pryed off. It takes a significant amount of force to put a new one in because the lock on the sensor is very strong. Do not touch the resistors and ALWAYS read the instructions no matter how painful it may be. The problem I had was the "odd" shifting. More precisely, not switching, only with the code of the mass air flow meter (without transmission). codes). So I took a picture here. It made no difference at first but after 2 days I found my battery negative was loose and after figuring out why the car was dead and reconnecting the battery the weird shifting problem was gone!
