I'm running into three problems encountered with the software that supports this device. The most egregious (and why I'm bringing it back); The created virtual serial ports are hidden. You have to show hidden devices in Device Manager to see them, and worst of all, some programs don't detect their presence since they're marked as hidden. Second problem: I couldn't get DHCP to work, I configured it to use DHCP, it was assigned an IP address, but it either rebooted or did a factory reset. Issue 3: The factory default IP address is 192.168.1.1, which is very commonly used as a router/gateway address in small business and home networks. Therefore, you must disconnect your computer from the network, manually configure it with an IP address, so that you can configure the device. Not a big deal, but certainly an annoyance. It would be better if it uses DHCP out of the box.
