Great vacation Turkey!

10/26/20: Updated my review from last December. I was planning on using the Soraken sensor last night when I was preparing the triple tip but found the sensor stopped working. At first I thought it was old batteries, but even after replacing it with new batteries it didn't work. I am disappointed that this product did not last a year. When it worked, it worked very accurately, but obviously it wasn't built to last. I'm glad I chose Soraken. It had more temperature sensors than the iGrill and cost half the price. After receiving the thermometer, I tested each sensor in boiling water to ensure they were properly calibrated. Each of them measured 212F accurately, which gave me confidence from the start. Setup was easy and the app makes monitoring the temperature of each sensor very convenient. I bought a thermometer before Thanksgiving and wanted to try it on our 24 pound turkey that we cooked on the Weber grill. At first I wanted to use only two sensors. one for the shank and the other for the internal temperature of the grill. However, once I realized I had two extra sensors, I decided to use one in each turkey breast. I'm glad I did because during the cooking process I found that one side of the turkey cooked faster than the other. This gave me the ability to adjust the burners and balance the cooking process. Our turkey was ready in about 4.5 hours and I was confident it was perfectly cooked by all the gauges. The family said it was the best turkey they had ever eaten. I was very pleased. I look forward to using this sensor when cooking triptyps, roasts, brisket, chicken, etc. It's easy and fun, and makes it easier to guess when the meat is done. Great product!
