This is a comprehensive set that has a lot of the non-standard drill bits that a DIY-er woodworker might need. They are not as nicely finished or as sharp as some of the name brands, but the get the job done and seem to be durable enough for a couple of jobs, but don’t expect longevity out of these bits.The countersink bits are what I needed the most, as I just finished a job making a windowsill plant stand shelf, and I was able to get the screws finished nicely into the wood. The plug cutters, chamfer bits, and step bits are a nice addition to this kit for a set that is less than twenty-five bucks.The punch is just ok, and the spring is not very strong, and it doesn’t always reset, I already own some Starrett punches and will keep on regularly using those, but this punch would be good for applications where I would be worried about damaging the punch tip, and I wouldn’t cry if this punch ended up failing or dulling.The reason I am giving this set a 3-star rating, instead of five, is for these reasons: These bits are not as hard as other sets, in that they are not titanium as advertised or gold plated and will dull much faster than name brand bits. The punch is a bottom of the barrel punch in terms of quality, and this set doesn’t come with any sort of case, so they are just loose in a box. I will have to find some old case to repurpose for these, so that I can quickly find the bit I need when I am looking for it.
