Review on Protective Shell Case for Toyota Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote - Compatible with 4Runner, Matrix, Rav4, Venza, Yaris, iQ, tC, xB, xD by Troy Early

I bought this for my 2010 Toyota Corolla S because one of my keys broke off. I was able to remove the remote from the original key and put it in this one, no problem, it fits like a glove. I took the key to a local locksmith, they cut it for a dollar - no problem. Received the key to the house, opened the trunk and the doors via the remote control with no problems. I put the key in the ignition and tried to start the car. A BIG PROBLEM! The car appears to be trying to start but will not start. Pulled the key, used my other "official" key (which I also had in my hand) and the car starts with no problems. Tried key again, car still won't start. So, for about $8 (keys plus cutters) I have a very fancy key fob that will start my car. DO NOT BUY THIS.
