Pleasantly satisfied with a good stock of spares
I'm usually a strong supporter of genuine parts so I was skeptical about buying this generator. I've seen a lot of aftermarket parts (including alternators) out of the box. In this case, I couldn't justify spending an extra $200 on Motorcraft for my Ford. I hooked up my lab oscilloscope as soon as I installed it, fully expecting a bad diode or too much AC ripple. Everything was good from the start. Checked again after 5000 km run, everything works as it should. Very happy with this product and will probably use it again for my next car's failed alternator.
