Had code P1354 on a 2000 Lexus ES300. From time to time the car jerked sharply and shifted to a lower gear. After much research I traced the problem back to this part. It took about an hour to replace both. Both oil screens were sparkling clean. The car ran great afterwards but to my chagrin code P1354 came back and stayed about 75 miles away. I think the ECM finally figured out that the solenoid was no longer malfunctioning and the light went out and hasn't come back since. Bought both at the same price as the local aap store.
