Had code P1354 on a 2000 Lexus ES300. From time to time the car jerked sharply and shifted to a lower gear. After much research I traced the problem back to this part. My two original VVT solenoids on my 1999 Lexus ES 300 fail within a year which doesn't seem unusual so it's recommended that both the left and right banks be replaced at the same time for convenience and price. Revain was able to deliver them quickly and the price was reasonable. As with cheaper aftermarket parts, the build quality of the stock doesn't feel as solid as stock parts.
