Review on SABRE Wired Water Leak Flood Alarm 🌊 Sensor: 110 dB Siren & DIY EASY Installation by Jason Burnside

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple, effective, great idea!

We live in an old (but cozy) Comfort caravan, built in 77. I've slowly renovated it - solar, plumbing/electrical etc. Haven't bothered to replace the toilet line yet (photo) - it has a slow leak or two with the valve on. Almost attached on the exit side with a few coats of PVC glue, the previous owner taped the entry side with teflon tape. Thing is, if we forget to close the valve after use, the line leaks all night, and morning comes, phew, walking barefoot on the wet carpet on the shower floor isn't the best way to wake up! (technically it's a "wet floor" but we hardly ever shower). So before I have to clean up another wet mess before my morning coffee, this little screamer will spot all the signs of the vintage cars lol! Low volume is loud, high volume is painfully loud. Battery indicator button, press to see the green light. The alarm is triggered when water touches both contacts of the sensor. I used double sided tape on the block and sensor. I haven't really been warned yet as I haven't forgotten to turn the damn valve off lol. Bye! πŸ€”πŸ€£

Cons
  • I can't remember
