I'm looking at these toys. They look adorable, but a toy is a bunch of wind chimes strung together with the kind of ring you would use to hold perforated papers together, and they're HUGE compared to wind chimes. I'm imagining my cockatiel's head getting stuck in these rings. Also, don't underestimate the power of a parrot's beak, these rings can open and the bird could get injured. The clamps by which they are suspended are of the kind a diver would call a "death clamp"; They're not the screw-in type, they get wedged in and the bird can put its foot in them. The chain used on all the toys is of VERY questionable quality and I would be concerned about possible zinc poisoning; There are painted wooden beads on the perch (I may be wrong but that's what they look like) and if so, then this is not the kind of paint that's safe for birds. The perch itself is fine and has the right coloring. The colored plastic bead is fine, but then again that chain and clip. This isn't the first time I've received inferior toys from Revain; I understand this is not a bird shop but I think during the pandemic I got tired of buying toys from their vendors. I will order them from a bird store, make them myself or buy them here because I honestly believe the people who make these products have no idea what it takes to make a bird safe toy. Dear sellers, please read this thread. So I read the negative reviews after inspecting the toys and yes. Exactly. I do not understand it.
