Turns off after 1 hour
installed on a 20ft -deck boat . The first unit was returned and replaced by the supplier due to a high volume failure. The second block did the same. Connected directly to battery with AWG 12 wire, but still turns off. Also tends to buffer every 5 minutes when using USB. Using 4-4 ohm speakers. I like the concept and the look of the unit. Looks and weighs a quality product but seems to shut down internally under load. Update: After receiving a diagram of the recommended wiring for the installation, I connected the ground directly to the battery as I did with the positive side and turned the unit on at full volume for 2 hours. . The heatsink hit 150F but kept playing. Completely satisfied with the device.
