DO NOT BUY this item! I recently started a project to breed some hawks. I'm so angry right now. Out of the 1000 hornworm eggs I collected, I got 7 that have actually reached their final age. And of those 7, 3 became dolls. They turned a sickly brown and eventually died. I was trying to change food every few days when I first noticed they were dying or giving off a strange smell. I not only lost the money I spent on this product but hundreds of dollars because people were queuing to buy from me. I am beside myself with anger! The photo shows the last alter who died in a night in the middle of the doll. Update: Turns out none of the hornworms that ate this food survived. The last of the group died either in the pupa and the other died in the middle of the pupa.
