I was skeptical about buying these but I'm glad I did. I was struggling with high levels of ammonia in my 180 gallon tank and added one of these as soon as I got it. Check the water after 24 hours. Its reading is 0 ppm! Thinking maybe I wasn't following the steps correctly, I even tested my ammonia 3 times to be sure. This worked for me!
