10x18 Acurel Infused Media Pads for Aquariums and Ponds Review

We had problems with cloudy water in our aquarium. The nitrite levels turned out to be very high and were killing some fish. After we installed them, the problem was solved.

I use ammonia and nitrate pads in several filters. This is great as the spacers can be cut to fit any filter size. They are changed every two weeks, and I find it more convenient to use them in internal filters. I have found ammonia pads to be more effective than nitrates.

I was skeptical about buying these but I'm glad I did. I was struggling with high levels of ammonia in my 180 gallon tank and added one of these as soon as I got it. Check the water after 24 hours. Its reading is 0 ppm! Thinking maybe I wasn't following the steps correctly, I even tested my ammonia 3 times to be sure. This worked for me!

For several months I cut Accurel Ammonia Reduction Pads to fit my aquarium filter. Before that I had a constant problem with creeping ammonia levels in the aquarium.
