Review on Optimized Zippo Chrome Lighter Collection by Joseph Quade

I got this particular matte chrome for $12.15 to use as I was sending back my old 1935 chrome copy to put on top, hinges fell after "overall " 8 years or 9 years out. It's just an external 3-clock loop and a weak point. but in the hinge it's a little better, but the metal is twice as thin as the caliber, sharper edges on the lid, plus the fit of the insides isn't very good, lighter parts move inside the case as I've read umpteen times in other reviews of this model. the lid does not close flush on the outside, but you can snap the thin lid in to open -> open. It's a minor shift or disclosure and more useful than anything else. but the body is still thin, and my previous Zippos over the past few decades have been stronger from day one. I'm not sure if this model even has the 8-9 years that my last copy got. the older ones got 20 years before self-destruct. I'm also easy with these things.
