Optimized Zippo Chrome Lighter Collection Review

I was completely stunned as I tried to fill the barrel and became suspicious when I saw the felt liner forming a large concave shape in the barrel and the boulders sticking out more than usual for Zippo. It's too subtle. No height, no width. Too thin! I have many Zippos but they are out of the state I currently live in. So I thought I'd buy one (cheaper than my family digs up mine and sends me, about the same price BUT I'll have a new lighter. BOY I was wrong! It might be 3/8 thick. THIN. The, the ones I have at home are at least 1/2" thick. If you squeeze them you can tell you're holding a real Zippo Sharp.

I'm disappointed in this lighter because it's cheap. The case is thin and light, almost does not open and does not make the famous click. It then only lasts for a day or so, I use it once a week and have to keep refilling it. ZIPPO should be ashamed. I tried contacting support to inquire about fuel evaporation. I got this particular matte chrome for $12.15 to use as I was sending back my old 1935 chrome copy to put on top, hinges fell after "overall " 8 years or 9 years out. It's just an external 3-clock loop and a weak point. but in the hinge it's a little better, but the metal is twice as thin as the caliber, sharper edges on the lid, plus the fit of the insides isn't very good, lighter parts move inside the case as I've read umpteen times in other reviews of this model. the lid does not close flush

I ordered a replacement for my 1984 highly polished chrome Venetian Zippo which recently had the hinge come loose from the lid after many decades of daily use. Immediately after touching this highly polished 2018 Venetian, I could tell it wasn't of the same quality. The pattern has been laser engraved, not machine engraved.
