Review on DORMAN 912-006 Hood, Hatch and Tailgate Release Cable - Efficient and Stylish Black Option by Flex Morgan

A+ for seller, very fast processing and delivery, will buy from there again. However, this cable is garbage. I gave 2 stars because it more or less works but the quality is very poor. The cable looks a lot cheaper than the original cable and the metal grommet on the cable is too narrow to sit properly in the locking mechanism. It opens the bonnet, but only with very great effort, even after removing all three latches to give it a thorough cleaning and oiling to ensure it's in good condition. I can say that it will last a few months at most before the pen breaks like the original pen. I will not be requesting a refund as I have to open the hood before I can install the hood pins.
