This is my second Porter Cable dovetail clamp. It produces precise, repeatable cuts and greatly simplifies dovetail docking. (A skill every carpenter should have) Full instructions are in the manuals, e.g. I can't find them on PC websites anymore. Installation is a hassle and there's no getting around it, so get plenty of cheap lumber first before you put in your good lumber. The curves on the templates weren't accurate, so they took a little coaxing to get them to 90. The edges of the offsets needed sharpening as I had badly punched and bent the part, it wasn't lined up properly until I filed the offsets, same with the mini set. These are all things that may or may not run on your device. Once set up, aligned and set, it works like a charm and makes it easy to repeat cuts throughout the day. There is no such thing as a simple dovetail machine. but it is near. As always, I put my hard-earned money into the articles I review.
