Review on ๐Ÿš— ACDelco GM OEM 580-1091 Rear Air Lift Shock Absorber Kit - Boost Performance & Comfort by Kyle Mack

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to set up and works as intended, but the Magnetic Ride Control is overpriced.

Straight fit. Works as it should. The front braces and rear shocks were removed when I bought the 2010 Escalade and the ride is 100% better after replacing them. I'm not impressed with the Magnetic Ride Control feature, however, as a lot of money is spent on the front stays and rear shocks. Nearly $1,000 for parts, it's not as smooth as my non-MRC 2005 Escalade. Next time they blow up and yes they will as I had to replace the current ones at 60k miles I will try non-MRC shocks and struts and save a lot of money and if the ride is that good I will I'll be happy with the savings! The back was easy to assemble. The front ones need good spring compression and some torque to loosen the top bolt.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
