Works properly with the car system.

These shock absorbers work perfectly with the system, cheaper shock absorbers have a resistance that fools the system, does not let light through but does not work. When these dampers are activated by the computer, the oil solidifies to stop body roll and provide stability. Cheaper shock absorbers do not do this and can lead to rollover.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative impression

2013 Escalade Platinum Z95 Magneride, amazing results

2013 Cadillac eacalade Platinun with Z95 Magneride. Shock absorber stuck on the driver's side. It felt like riding on a trampoline. There were no codes or warnings. Used these 580-1091 shocks to replace the old ones. The car drives like new again. Installing the shop took about an hour. Dealer price was $535 for the same part. At the time of the problem, the car had about 100,000 mileage on it. The Z95 package. NOT Z55.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Of the available options, only the original equipment makes sense

After purchasing all the options and reviews, only the original equipment is reliable enough. The initial set lasted ten years, after market entry it can take anywhere from a few months to a few years. The seller on Revain has the best price so the purchase was made without hesitation. You will probably need a pump, we went with the Dorman as they are a cut below the original quality at half the price of the original. This is a mandatory repair if you plan to increase the weight of the car.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

My 2013 Cadillac Escalade (Luxury Trim Package) with 98,000 miles was driving really hard and I decided to replace the shock absorbers/struts. The price fluctuated at Oreilly, Autozone, Rockauto by 150 to 300 dollars more. These are AC Delco OEM factory replacement parts, the exact same parts it was built from. Dude, the trip is like new again! The rears were easy to swap out, the A-pillars need a spring compressor, which you can get free from Oreilly or Autozone. One of my rear shock absorbers

Pros
  • Great on a small house
Cons
  • boring packaging

Straight fit. Works as it should. The front braces and rear shocks were removed when I bought the 2010 Escalade and the ride is 100% better after replacing them. I'm not impressed with the Magnetic Ride Control feature, however, as a lot of money is spent on the front stays and rear shocks. Nearly $1,000 for parts, it's not as smooth as my non-MRC 2005 Escalade. Next time they blow up and yes they will as I had to replace the current ones at 60k miles I will try non-MRC shocks and struts and…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
