Visibility - Cutting Mats

The mat looks nice but the black squares printed in the center of the mat make it difficult to see if the ruler is properly aligned when cutting dark fabrics. Unfortunately, the 45.7 x 61 cm carpet does not leave much light space to work with. I ended up giving the rug to my husband for his workshop and bought a rug without the printed squares from another manufacturer.
